The warranty period has run its course from the time of my original purchase. This phone is already a replacement for my original one. The screen still does not light up, flash, flicker, vibrate, or anything else.

Additionally, my PC does indicate a device has been connected with the standard audible “ding”, but that’s it. The only sign of life is that, every once in a while, a little light flashes from front. However, now I can’t even get the phone to enter recover, boot loop, or anything. I got everything downloaded that I needed (official firmware, adb and USB drivers, platform tools, etc). So, I decided to download the firmware file. I could enter into recovery utilizing the button combo sequence so I attempted a factory reset several times having seemingly see no effect on the device. Problem: I have a S7 that suddenly got stuck in a boot loop without me having some anything (adb, flashing, etc) to cause this sudden behavior. You will need to bring the phone to a service center and have this battery replaced. If the above steps fails to fix the problem then it’s possible that the battery might already be faulty. The best thing to do in this case is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

There’s also a possibility that some old software data has not been removed during the update process. Go to the Google Play Store app on your phone then check if any apps have updates available. An outdated app might be causing this problem as it is not optimized to work with the new software version. If the issue occurs for several days then the next step that you will want to do is to check if any of your apps have an update available. This is only temporary and will use up some battery life.
